Soo I did an oopsie...

So roughly a few months ago, My linux install sorta corrupted itself, this was mostly in part to me not knowing how to use linux efficiently as this was my first linux install after being a windows user who hated windows for 3 years, I chose ZorinOS(A terrible OS, which I’ll likely make a seperate post about) as my first OS even though my friend told me not to as I thought he just had a skill issue.

While using ZorinOS, it worked well for a day then the Desktop Manager broke when I was uninstalling a package(this shouldn’t happen if your on a good distro unless your uninstalling something critical to your DM) so I installed KDE Plasma which worked for a month or two then my system was repetitively crashing nonstop, effectively corrupting itself from the inside out.

When I went to transfer the files of various projects of mine to my USB as I hadn’t backed them up previously, when transferring the files nothing actually transferred except 0 byte files. I believe this is in part due to ZorinOS itself being super unstable.

So skip to yesterday and well I re-edited most of the site from Zera again, fortunately I already know the codebase quite well so it wasn’t hard to re-edit the stuff from before, I’ve chosen to stay away from Non-Mainstream distros, therefore I now use Ubuntu 22.04 as Ubuntu 24+ is effectively AI slop in my opinion, aswell as I have heard from several other linux users that AppArmor sucks.
